Margam Country Park is a magnificent 850 acre park only a few minutes from Best Western Aberavon Beach.

Castle and Gardens

Visit Margam Castle and  the newly renovated gardens which offer an exciting blend of history and horticulture. The gardens include historic buildings like the Orangery and Abbey Ruins, Statuesque trees, the Japanese Gardens and an acclaimed fuchsia collection. The park is also home to several species of deer.

Things to do

Take a trip on the Margam Train, try the new adventure playground and pay a visit to Charlotte's Pantry, the gift shop and the visitor centre.
